Well, I got some good news today, not earth-shattering, but good, nonetheless. We lost our ability to recycle magazines and soda tabs in this area. Our recycling company lost its market for any paper except for newspaper, and I could no longer find a source for the aluminum tabs. So, today I had a few moments to go scrolling through the net, and lo and behold I discovered that the Ronald McDonald House has the ability to accept both items and to use the proceeds to offset their costs. These are two small things, but that’s what I am all about, “Everyday Ways”. So, here’s my plan. Ronald McDonald House is in Hershey. We are south of Harrisburg, so I figure we are about a forty minute drive apart. We can save up our magazines and tabs, and drive them to Hershey for drop-off. And, I just happen to know of a great place for lunch in the area. So, it’s a win-win-win! Plus, double-whammy, we are keeping the magazines out of the landfills? How do you like them apples?https://wordpress.com/post/everydaywaysblog.wordpress.com/8
