I stumbled upon an ad for Epic Honey Co (https://epichoney.com/) in my Facebook feed. Profits from the sale of every product in the Epic Honey store are donated to the American Honey Bee Protection Agency to support the safe rescue, rehabilitation and relocation of wild honey bees. Every $20 you spend on their site rescues 5,000 bees. When you go on their site, they have several different types of honey for sale. These are all pure grade honeys. The honeys are specific to their location and source, they are not blended, so you get to taste the differences that make each unique. They also sell “Bee Woke” coffee. Right now they are selling a 12 oz bag of their coffee for $14.95. Proceeds save 5,500 bees. It is grown in Nayarit Mexico, which is the perfect latitude (21) for growing coffee. This coffee is a limited reserve coffee, which means the land is not “pushed” to produce beyond its natural capabilities.
The Epic Honey Co also produces and sells lip balm and hand and cuticle salve. I got the hand and cuticle salve. It is delightful and is easily transported. They also sell a selection of t-shirts and a really cute necklace.
Let’s face it. The bees were doing just fine before we came along with our pesticides, herbicides, and deforestation. Why not buy a jar of honey, or bag of coffee to make amends?
Thanks for stopping by.
